As A Nation Cheers Its Own Demise
We as a nation have condemned the Chinese people for their lack of foresight, in the control of their birthrate. We have cringed at their focus of the systematic elimination of their female babies. We have criticized their 1 child policies that have decreased their female population to such low numbers. All while have watched the Chinese people struggle with the loss of those children and pointed out their short slightness. Have we done anything less in our own countries?
We are a national applauding our own ruin and allowing an organization like planned parenthood to destroy our very lives. Are we so selfish in this day of Money, Economy and Selfies we have overlooked our own flesh and blood. This is nothing short of the Suicide of a Nation.

Millions Saw ABC’s ‘Scandal’ Abortion Scene, and Plenty are ‘Disgusted’ By What Song Played During It
It may no longer be the top-rated drama, but ABC’s hit show “Scandal” still pulled in over 8 million viewers to its episode Thursday night.
The episode tackled abortion – by showing its lead character receiving one on the screen.

For those unfamiliar with the show, the main character Olivia Pope, played by Kerry Washington, leads a ‘crisis management’ firm that helps politicians and other powerful people deal with scandals and controversy.
On the season finale Thursday, Pope watches another character fight a Planned Parenthood defunding bill before stepping into a doctor’s office and receiving an abortion of her own. As the abortion is carried out, the Christmas hymn “Silent Night” plays in the background.
Stars of the show seemed quick to support the scene:
And one fan in particular
Fans are not amused:
Planned Parenthood also released a statement praising the message:
“Tonight, the millions of people who tune into Scandal every Thursday night learned that our rights to reproductive health care are under attack…We applaud [showrunner] Shonda Rhimes tonight — and every Thursday night – for proving that when women are telling our stories, the world will pause and watch.
We just hope those in Congress — and throughout the nation — who are steadfast on rolling the clock back on reproductive health care access are taking note.”
However, there were plenty of viewers who felt the scene, especially with its inclusion of a Christian hymn about the birth of baby Jesus, was inappropriate:
It hasn’t been stated whether the song choice was deliberate, an oversight, or simply meant to tie in with the episode’s Christmas setting, but if it was meant to get people talking, it seems to have succeeded.
It just may not have had the impact they intended:
