Why Did The RCMP Censor 18 Seconds From The Zehaf-Bibeau Video?
Why the RCMP would censor 18 seconds from the Zehaf-Bibeau video
Police finally aired a tape of the Parliament Hill shooter’s last words, after nearly 6 months of silence. But what does Zehaf-Bibeau does say in secret?
RCMP commissioner Paulson made clear that despite the gunman’s demise, the RCMP’s criminal investigation is still very open—and that others could be charged in connection with the Ottawa attack. “We are actively investigating individuals who may have contributed to his crimes,” he said.
Which is why 18 seconds of the video (13 at the start, five at the end) are being kept under wraps until further notice. Somewhere in that censored footage is a clue, or lead, or some nugget that might point police to a potential accomplice. “It’s complicated,” Paulson said, when asked to explain why those particular seconds can’t be shown. “I’m asking you to be patient, because it’s going to take time.”

UPDATE: “This attack, and the one on Canadian soldiers in St. Jean sur Richelieu, Quebec, two days earlier, came the very week that the Harper government was introducing legislation to grant expanded powers to CSIS.” Richocet
They have finally given up looking for the second shooter in Ottawa and they now say that Michael Zehaf-Bibeau acted alone, a “lone gunman” if you will, yet they know not his particular motives for this attack of his.
No motive? Never heard that one before, did ya?
More information is seeping out on Mr. Zehaf-Bibeau and frankly, it’s beyond strange, bordering on infinitely odd or highly suspect depending on how you look (or choose not too) at things.
Let’s start off with his name.
Early in the story, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau was reportedly born Michael Joseph Hall in 1982 and that he had only been “using” the name Zehaf-Bibeau since his “recent” conversion to Islam.
“The gunman, identified as 32-year-old Michael Joseph Hall, was a convert to Islam and had been using the name Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, sources told NBC News.” MSNBC Oct. 22
Well now, that is pretty interesting considering the fact that his mother’s name is Susan Bibeau and his father’s name is Bulgasem Zehaf; hence Zehaf-Bibeau. They were his natural parents and divorced in 1999 when Michael was 17 or so. So where does the name Michael Joseph Hall come from? How does the last name of ‘Hall’ work into that equation?
You’ll notice the name “Hall” has been dropped from the storyline. I wonder if the mistaken name was used to keep people from looking more closely at his family ties. Did he officially change his name after the divorce? I don’t know, but it is very odd.
Let’s look at his family ties, shall we?
Susan Bibeau “says she is crying for the victims of the shooting, not her son” The Star
Michael Zehaf-Bibeau’s mother is being reported by many press agencies as being an “employee” of Canada’s Immigration Division and in some cases as a “senior ranking official” but neither of those do her station justice.
Susan Bibeau is the Deputy Chairperson, Immigration Division which might also be a bit misleading:
On April 1, 2009, Susan Bibeau was appointed Director General of the Immigration Division, after performing those duties on an acting basis since July 2008. Effective December 15, 2012, the Director General of the ID became known as the Deputy Chairperson of the ID. Official Website of the ID
That makes her the head of the Immigration Division for all of Canada, not just Ottawa. In other words, she’s got some juice in the country. And her own son was barred from traveling? On some list? And she did nothing about it? Do you think that is odd? I do.
If you think his mother’s position is odd considering his motiveless attack, wait till you learn a bit about his father.
His daddy, Bulgasem Zehaf, is a Libyan businessman who fled Libya because he hated Gaddafi’s Great Socialist People’s Libyan Arab Jamahiriya not enough profits for big business I guess. So according to reports, Bulgasem went back to Libya in 2011 in order to help destabilize the country and work to wipe out the People’s Jamahiriya and turn Libya into the chaotic nightmare it is today.
Mr. Zehaf-Bibeau was born in 1982 and was the son of Bulgasem Zehaf, a Quebec businessman who appears to have fought in 2011 in Libya, and Susan Bibeau, the deputy chairperson of a division of Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Board. The two were divorced in 1999. Globe and Mail
That’s right. Michael Zehaf-Bibeau is apparently a duel citizen Canada and Libya, and his father was active in the terrorist color revolution in Libya which decimated that nation.
But wait, it gets better.
Turns out Bulgasem was actually used in a bit of propaganda back in those days:
His father’s history offers a hint of what Mr. Bathurst was concerned about. In 2011, a Montrealer named “Belgasem Zahef” was quoted in a Washington Times dispatch from the front in Libya, where he had travelled to join the rebel fight. The man described being detained at the Zawiyah oil terminal, where he witnessed torture. Globe and Mail
Canadian media reported that Zehaf-Bibeau’s father is a businessman, Bulgasem Zehaf, who may have fought in Libya’s 2011 civil war against the country’s longtime dictator, Moammar Kadafi.
An August 2011 report from Libya by the Washington Times quoted a “Bulgasem Zahaf” who had recently returned to Montreal from Libya after spending more than a month in detention.
The man told the Washington Times that he had been arrested in his native city of Zawiya.
“Mr. Zahaf said the main prison in the city was overflowing with inmates who were forced to live in subhuman conditions and routinely tortured by their captors,” the paper reported. LA Times
So, let me get this straight… Michael Zehaf-Bibeau’s mother is a high ranking official in the Stephen Harper government and his father was used as a propaganda spokesman in 2011 during the color revolution in Libya?
Let’s delve a bit more into Michael’s history.
Michael was apparently a spoiled rich kid who wasted much of his life and most of his birthright opportunities as basically a career criminal and degenerate. But he always seemed to get off easy, which I guess is directly related to his mother’s position in the government. Take a look at his Dec. 2011 conviction after practically a lifetime of committing major offenses. You would think most would be handed out a rather lengthy prison visit… but not Michael. He got 1 day. One fucking day.
Zehaf-Bibeau had faced at least 11 criminal charges in various cities, according to court records dating to 2001 obtained by the Toronto Star.
The charges included credit card fraud, drunk driving, assault, theft, possession of a dangerous weapon, escaping custody (twice) and possession of marijuana and PCP, according to the Star.
Zehaf-Bibeau was charged in a Dec. 16, 2011, robbery in Vancouver but pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of uttering threats, according to the Vancouver Sun.
Court records uploaded by the Sun did not include details of the robbery but showed that Zehaf-Bibeau was ordered to undergo a psychiatric assessment after his arrest. That assessment found him “fit” for court but did not provide further details.
After Zehaf-Bibeau pleaded guilty to making threats, he was credited with time served for spending 66 days in custody and was sentenced to one additional day in jail in February 2012. LA Times
How many felonies do you think that is? It’s a lot. And in the end, he was sentenced to time served and ONE DAY in jail? That day was probably the day he spent in court.
How do you think he got that lucky? I know. Do you?
So then, what do you think happened?
Well, he converted to Islam and started hanging out at Muslim rec centers and various mosques acting like a terrorist wannabe. That’s what happened.
I wonder. Did they use him like our FBI uses various career criminals who are facing a shit-load of serious time, to run around trying to find Muslims to set-up in entrapment schemes so they could create a looming terrorist attack and then foil it at the last minute?
According to reports, Michael wasn’t very convincing as the “crazy terrorist wannabe” so most Muslims in the mosques steered way clear of him. They apparently don’t allow any meetings and report all violent sounding folks immediately. So I guess Michael’s post-prison project turned up a big goose egg.
Ismail said the mosque didn’t foster an environment conducive to expressing political views, radical or otherwise. Private meetings are prohibited, even small gatherings of two or three people for the purpose of scripture reading.
“That’s how vigilant we are — we mean serious business,” Ismail said. “If anyone shares radical views, we report it. We work closely with the RCMP.” LA Times
Then, from what I understand, Michael supposedly wanted to go to Syria to help regime change the elected leadership of that country. Wanted to go “study” in Libya (all the schools have been shut down pretty much, so what exactly he wanted to “study” is beyond me)
But even though his MOTHER was head of immigration in Canada, he couldn’t get a passport, according to reports.
So, after failing to find a suitable patsy, the career criminal in Canada with serious political ties, much like the ones used by the FBI here, seems to have decided to go a different route, or at least his handlers did. He became the patsy himself.
Shooting the soldier on the grounds of the National War Memorial, a mere few feet from the monument, was designed to rile the public enough to support various global and domestic policies that Stephen Harper has been trying to push through legislation.
But that wasn’t the end of the story, was it?
Michael Zehaf-Bibeau then reportedly ran into the parliament building and brought the threat “home” to Canadian legislators many of whom barricaded themselves in their offices while the shooting of the suspect took place and then for quite a while afterward while they supposedly looked for the other one or two shooters. Wonder how they’ll vote now.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper, speaking to Parliament Thursday one day after a gunman rampaged through the ornate building, said Canadians “will not run scared” and proposed tightening police and surveillance procedures to go after terrorists.
In a dramatic opening of the session, Kevin Vickers, the sergeant-at-arms who traditionally leads the MPs into the chamber, received a sustained and emotional round of applause for his quick action on Wednesday in fatally shooting the gunman.
Vickers, a 58-year-old retired officer in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, appeared on the verge of tears as waves of applause swept through the room. USA Today
Yes, new anti-terrorism laws are about to be rammed through in Canada, probably similar to those pushed through here in the states or even those draconian ones that just went through in Britain and Australia (Canada, Australia and Britain… all so closely connected… and here we are, with this motiveless terrorist act… just in the knick of time, huh)
Yeah, I would say all these facts running together to make this story, the story of the politically connected “terrorist” who apparently loved all the regime change ops in the past suddenly turning against Mother Canada though she supported all the regime change ops as well, is very very very odd. Too say the least.
You can look at it as odd in the way where you try to swallow the official story. Yeah, that’s “odd”
Or… you can look at it in the way that it all makes perfect sense. Because, in some ways… it really does.
